The Overtones are Britain’s number 1 vocal harmony group
The Overtones landed a recording deal with Warner Music in the summer of 2010.Released that same year, their debut album ‘Good Ol’ Fashioned Love’ reached number 4 on the album chart. The release of the 2nd album ‘Higher’ emulated that success also hitting the Top 5 as did both Saturday Night At The Movies and Sweet Soul Music. Combined these albums have sold over 1,000,000 cope and has seen them appear on TV shows from Dancing On Ice to John Bishop to BBC Breakfast.
The Overtones are torchbearers for flat-out fantastic singing, as much as a throwback to the timeless appeal of doo-wop and Motown as they are to modern day R&B and pop, their reputation as a group with the unique ability to deliver consistently uplifting music infused with with exquisitely crafter vocal harmonies is renowned. They have enjoyed a succession of major achievements, including performing in front of 250,000 people at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert, appearing at the Festival of Remembrance and hitting London’s Hyde Park for major festival shows at BT London Live and British Summer Time . Following on from 5 sold out UK tours (including sell out shows at the London O2, Palladium and Hammersmith Apollo).
