Twist and Pulse
Twist and Pulse – Ashley “Twist” Glazebrook and Glen “Pulse” Murphy met at The Brit School of Performing Arts & Technology in London, whose famous alumni include Adele, Jessie J, Rizzle Kicks and Amy Winehouse.
Since being runners up on Britain’s Got Talent in 2010, Twist and Pulse have toured the UK and Ireland extensively performing to over 1 000 000 people.
They have pioneered a new genre of dance called Streetomedy© – combining streetdance and comedy.
In 2012, Twist and Pulse were sponsored by Samsung to perform at all 66 Olympic Torch Relay Evening Celebrations in the run-up to the Olympics – they visited most major towns and cities in the UK. They opened the show for the headlining Coca-Cola act every night, which saw them performing alongside Will.I.am, Emile Sande, Labrinth, Wretch 32 and Rizzle Kicks, amongst others.
They also performed every day of the Olympics at the Basketball, Badminton and Volleyball events.
They recently became Guinness World Record holders, setting a record for the highest number of synchronised moves in 30 seconds.
They have been wowing audiences of up to 450 million people in China. Selected from top international dance talent to judge one of China’s biggest talent TV shows, their international footprint has increased dramatically this year.
